We have been working without a new Contract since 2021. Negotiations continue to drag on, and we are paying the price.
United Airlines has reported sky-high profits since our Contract became amendable — the airline just recently had its “best revenue day ever.” But rather than invest in us, United management continually rewards executives and shareholders with the profits Flight Attendants help create. That’s unacceptable.
Meanwhile, management insists on bringing forward insulting concessionary proposals to the table, making it impossible to reach the industry-leading Contract Flight Attendants have earned. No one else has taken concessions; this is clearly just a delay tactic. We deserve a Contract that reflects the value of our contributions to our airline. It’s time for management to stop the delay tactics, remove concessionary proposals, and agree to a fair Contract.
Members of the Senate are standing with workers to get management to drop the concessions and move negotiations along, getting us the Contract we have earned.
Make the call and write to your Senator TODAY, asking them to sign on to the letter to United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby and urge him to stop the delays. Make a commitment to ask your friends and family to support us by making calls and writing to their elected senators.
Together with our leaders in Washington, we’ll hold United management accountable. Management must remove concessions, get serious, and deliver the industry-leading Contract Flight Attendants have earned.
Time is of the essence. The letter will close by the end of the day December 18th. Share the links below and spread the word today!
