APR 13 - Local Council Leaders, will attend to discuss Union business and address issues that are important to members including an update from our Negotiations Committee which will occur on day three of this meeting.
The United Master Executive Council (MEC) will hold its Spring 2023 Regular Meeting on April 18-20, 2023, at the Hyatt Rosemont in Chicago, IL. Local Council Leaders, including your President and others from our system, will attend to discuss Union business and address issues that are important to members including an update from our Negotiations Committee which will occur on day three of this meeting.
During the meeting, the United AFA MEC Officers will update our Members on their progress since the last regular meeting and conduct elections for open MEC positions on day two. Information about the available positions, including responsibilities, is available on the MEC Election Page of our website.
We invite members to attend their Local Council meetings and observe the democratic process in action. If you happen to be in the Chicago area during April 18-20, 2023, you are also welcome to attend the MEC Spring Meeting.
