MAR 4 - As we previously reported, AFA and United management have an active dispute over the investigation and terminations of AFA union representatives acting in the course of their representation of Flight Attendants at United Airlines.
As we previously reported, AFA and United management have an active dispute over the investigation and terminations of AFA union representatives acting in the course of their representation of Flight Attendants at United Airlines.
AFA has grieved the termination of these individual Flight Attendants as well as nine other Flight Attendants terminated in IAD and EWR.
This week, AFA and United reached an agreement on an expedited process to schedule these arbitrations before a neutral arbitrator. This will allow these terminations, as well as the important underlying issues of union rights, to be heard promptly by an outside arbitrator.
