As part of our Benefit programs, we have access to a Health Assistant and nursing professionals to assist us with healthcare and benefit questions. These services are available to us at no additional cost.  Judiciously using these services can assist us in saving money while ensuring we are receiving the healthcare we and our family may need. 

Accolade has five tips for saving money. These include:

  • Using in-network physicians and facilities
  • Using the right “service location” for care (i.e. virtual visit, doctor’s office or clinic versus an emergency room.)
  • Using Accolade to check for lower prices on any medications.
  • Take advantage of your preventive care benefits.
  • Take advantage of health and “specific medical” condition support programs (i.e. diabetes programs)
