The opportunities presented by the Contractual ability to pick up flying out of base has presented new challenges to Flight Attendants when ensuring they have the proper documentation to travel to a specific destination not normally flown from her/his home domicile.
In an ongoing effort to ensure full compliance with all immigration requirements when traveling to another country, effective October 8, 2020, we will be able to link directly to the IATA Timatic System via CCS. This system will provide information on country-specific passport/visa requirements as well as information about quarantine requirements and any other tasks that are required before or after arrival into the destination city.
This information will be available from all pairing views in CCS (except the EBB calendar and the Master Schedule) via a drop down, expandable menu for both CCS web and mobile applications. Any country restriction data will be updated when updates are made to the pairing and the Timatic inquiry will result in real time, latest pairing information.
