As Flight Attendants prepare to make their second round Vacation Bids we remind you that you have the ability to bid days that cross the end of the month into the next.

A Flight Attendant may bid for a vacation period overlapping two bid months. However, a Flight Attendant may not bid for a vacation period overlapping two scheduled vacation years; that is, no overlap from December 2020 into January 2021. The minimum vacation bid to cross from one month to the next is fourteen (14) full days and the following rules apply to crossing months:

In order to cross months using 14, 15 or 16 days, you must meet the following rules:

  • There must be a minimum of four (4) full days in both months.
  • Partial Vacation days are not counted as a full day.

When crossing months using seventeen (17) days or more, the following rules must be met:

  • Both months must have a minimum of seven (7) full days in both months.
  • Partial Vacation days are not counted as a full day.
